Crystal Palace confirm Quinten Timber signing from Marseille for €20m

Crystal Palace have confirmed the signing of Quinten Timber from Marseille for €20m, completed at the very end of the window.

The Netherlands international, 25 and capped 13 times, has agreed a long-term deal through 2031.

Timber joined OM in January for just under €5m and had been contracted until 2030, but departs after 17 appearances.

He will play in the Premier League alongside his brother, Jurriën, who is the reigning champion with Arsenal.

Palace, led by Pierre Sage, finalised the move late and also secured Ben Chilwell in the closing hours after a lengthy chase for Malick Fofana.
