Crystal Palace are ‘in the running’ for striker Matthis Abline, who is now wanted by Paris FC, as the race heats up for the Nantes star.
Abline rose through the ranks of Rennes academy and initially joined Nantes on loan in 2023 before putting pen to paper on a permanent deal in the summer of 2024.
The 23-year-old has become a key member of the squad, but is tipped to leave Nantes, following their relegation from Ligue 1.
This term, the French forward has scored six goals and provided five assists in 32 matches in Ligue 1, but ultimately was unable to save the club from dropping into Ligue 2.
Abline was wanted by Wolves last summer, while Paris FC had a bid rejected and Nantes refused to let him go.

Now ahead of the summer transfer window, interest in the striker is heating up again and, according to French outlet Foot Mercato, Crystal Palace are ‘in the running’.
Paris FC have kept their own interest in the Nantes man alive, while Roma are also showing interest in him.
Relegation from Ligue 1 has not softened Nantes’ view of the striker however and interested clubs could have to fork out a substantial sum.
They have already turned down a bid of €15m from Monaco with a clear message that much more will be needed to take Abline away this summer.

Paris FC are now actively considering making a bid for the striker and if they do then all eyes will be on what level it comes in at.
Crystal Palace are likely to see significant change this summer with a new manager set to come in.
Already there is interest in Palace loanee Christantus Uche, while the Eagles are interested in Real Sociedad’s Brais Mendez.
Abline could be a player for the big moments, as this season in Ligue 1 he has made notable goal contributions against Monaco, Marseille and Paris FC.
There looks set to be a scrap for the striker this summer and Nantes will be confident given the level of interest that despite relegation he can leave on their terms.
