Crystal Palace are reportedly very keen on the idea of signing AJ Auxerre’s Kévin Danois (22), according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.

A concrete approach, including discussions regarding a transfer fee of around €30m excluding bonuses, is said to have even been made to the French club.

A product of the AJA academy, Danois made his professional debut there in January 2023, before playing a part in the Burgundians’ return to the top flight a year and a half later. Having become a key member of the Auxerre squad from his very first season in Ligue 1, the midfielder established himself as a true mainstay during the 2025-26 campaign, starting 32 of the 33 league matches in which he featured (scoring three goals and providing one assist).

Under contract until 2029, Danois, a French Under-21 international (two caps), has seen his name linked with numerous clubs in recent weeks, both in France and abroad.
