Crystal Palace are pushing to sign West Ham United midfielder Soungoutou Magassa (22), according to RMC Sport. The 22-year-old joined the Hammers only a year ago from AS Monaco in a €17m deal. Magassa went on to feature 26 times with the East London side, logging two goal contributions. Considering West Ham United dropped to the EFL Championship, Magassa’s future at the London Stadium remains uncertain.

RMC Sport reports that Pierre Sage’s Crystal Palace have been in touch with West Ham to get an overview of Magassa’s exit terms. The French defensive midfielder is said to be keen on joining the Eagles, who have qualified for the UEFA Europa League in winning the UEFA Conference League in May.

Although negotiations are ongoing, Crystal Palace are reportedly not the only club interested in Magassa. The Eagles are reportedly also keen on Auxerre midfielder Kevin Danois.
