WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Eagles this afternoon.
The 21-year-old midfielder joins Crystal Palace after spending the 2025/2026 campaign with Brighton & Hove Albion. The player joined The Seagulls from Japanese SOMPO WE League club Urawa Reds last summer. Tsunoda made seven appearances for Brighton & Hove Albion in the Barclays Women’s Super League, scoring two goals. The youngster is seen as a very bright prospect for the future.
On the international stage, Tsunoda has represented Japan at Under-20 level. She will hope to push for senior international honours in the not-so-distant future.
After joining Crystal Palace on loan, Tsunoda said “I’m really excited to be in South London. I can’t wait to play for you all soon.”
Crystal Palace head coach Jo Potter also commented on Tsunoda’s arrival at Selhurst Park. She said “We are delighted to have Füka here. She is an exciting talent and I look forward to seeing what she can bring to Palace.”
Tsunoda is Crystal Palace’s eighth signing of the summer transfer window. The Eagles have made some useful additions during the close season.
