Crystal Palace have confirmed the signing of Jean-Philippe Mateta on an 18-month loan deal.
Mateta joins from German side Mainz where has has impressed this season, scoring 10 goals in 17 games.

The French-born striker told the club’s website: ““I’m very happy to come to Crystal Palace and I look forward to training.
“Playing in the Premier League was my dream when I was a child. Now I can play, I will show the fans of Crystal Palace what I can do.”
Reports from Wednesday from the Atheltic suggest that Palace have an obligation to buy Mateta from Mainz for €17m if certain criteria are met during his stay at Selhurst Park.
