Crystal Palace Star Wants To Play For Southampton Boss | OneFootball

Crystal Palace have rejected an enquiry from Southampton for winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi, but he wants to play for Russell Martin, according to Sky Sports News.

The 21-year-old winger missed a large chunk of last season due to a hamstring injury and only made six Premier League appearances for Crystal Palace.

Several Championship clubs are interested in signing the winger on loan and Crystal Palace have reportedly permitted him to speak to his suitors.

Palace have been planning to loan him out to a club in the second tier of English football but Rak-Sakyi has Premier League suitors in Southampton.

Southampton are interested in signing him and made an enquiry to sign him on an initial loan but Crystal Palace rejected the approach from the Saints.

However, the winger is interested in the move and wants to play under Saints boss Martin going forward.

For the moment, Crystal Palace do not want to see him join a Premier League rival in Southampton in the ongoing summer transfer window.

He has remained in demand in the Championship where 15 of the 24 clubs have registered an interest in Rak-Sakyi.
