Selhurst Park has been the key to their success. The Eagles are unbeaten in their last 11 Premier League home games, which is the longest ongoing run in the division. Furthermore, they are aiming for a third straight win against Brighton, a feat they haven’t achieved since their league double last season. This fixture also guarantees goals. Oliver Glasner has a relatively stable squad to choose from, as his main selection dilemma comes in central midfield. Adam Wharton, who is recovering from illness, was only able to play 30 minutes in the midweek cup match and may be eased back into action from the bench. This means the established pairing of Will Hughes and Jefferson Lerma is expected to continue to anchor the midfield.

The Eagles will, however, be without a few key players. Cheick Doucouré, Eddie Nketiah, and Chadi Riad all remain unavailable and continue their recovery from their respective injuries. In attack, the team will be led by the in-form Jean-Philippe Mateta. The striker has been in superb form at Selhurst Park recently, scoring four goals in his last two appearances on home soil.
