Crystal Palace welcome Fulham to Selhurst Park on New Year’s Day for the first Premier League clash of 2026.

The Eagles and the Cottagers had contrasting starts to the campaign, but a recent turn in fortunes for both sides means they are now level on 26 points after 18 matches.

The visitors have lost each of their last three meetings with Palace, the most recent of which came less than a month ago. But Marco Silva’s men did win on their last trip to this ground, winning 2-0 in November 2024.

Daniel Munoz, Daichi Kamada, Cheick Doucoure, Chadi Riad, Rio Cardines and Caleb Kporha remain on the treatment table, while Ismaila Sarr is away at AFCON with Senegal.

Fulham team news

There are no fresh injury concerns for Marco Silva, who remains without Ryan Sessegnon and Rodrigo Muniz due to hamstring issues.

Nigerian trio Alex Iwobi, Calvin Bassey and Samuel Chukwueze are all competing at AFCON.

Form

Crystal Palace: LDLDL

Palace are winless in their last five games in all competitions as they struggle with injuries and the fixture schedule. Incidentally, their last Premier League win came against Fulham in early December.

Any momentum they derived from a three-game winning streak at the beginning of last match has completely stalled thanks to heavy defeats to Man City and Leeds, a narrow loss to Spurs and a draw with KuPS. They have technically lost four of their last five matches after losing to Arsenal on penalties following a 1-1 draw in normal time in the League Cup quarter-finals.

Fulham: LWLWW

The performances have not been entirely convincing, but Fulham managed to gather some good form to end 2025 on a high.

The Whites have won six of their last ten games in all competitions, including back-to-back victories over Nottingham Forest and West Ham United over the festive period. They last won three league games in succession back in January 2023, when they won four matches in a row.

Predicted lineups

Possible Crystal Palace starting XI: Henderson; Guehi, Lacroix, Lerma; Mitchell, Hughes, Wharton, Clyne; Pino, Devenney; Mateta.

Possible Fulham starting XI: Leno; Robinson, Cuenca, Andersen, Tete; Berge, Lukic; Kevin, Smith Rowe, Wilson; Jiménez.
