Crystal Palace travel away from home to face Leeds United in their next Premier League match on Sunday.
Crystal Palace have endured a rocky, inconsistent opening month under new manager Pierre Sage, occupying 17th place in the league table. The Eagles have struggled defensively, conceding a division-high 11 goals across just four matches. However, they received a massive confidence boost in midweek by thumping Lech Poznan 4-0 in the UEFA Europa League. Their attack has shown flashes of brilliance, netting 13 goals across their last five games in all competitions.
Crystal Palace travel to Yorkshire facing a significant selection headache, particularly across their defensive line and attacking front.
The Eagles will be without Axel Disasi, who begins a three-match suspension, forcing manager Oliver Glasner to reshuffle his backline alongside long-term absentee Chadi Riad, who is still recovering from a torn ACL.
In goal, Dean Henderson remains sidelined with a foot injury, meaning Walter Benítez will continue to deputise between the posts.
Further up the pitch, striker Jean-Philippe Mateta is unavailable after picking up a hamstring injury.
However, Palace receive a timely boost in the final third with the return of winger Ismaïla Sarr. Sarr has fully recovered from a recent groin injury and is available for selection, though staff may manage his minutes carefully rather than risking him for a full 90-minute shift.
Possible Crystal Palace starting XI: Henderson; Tomiyasu, Richards, Ahanor; Khalaili, Timber, Wharton, Mitchell; Sarr, Pino; Strand Larsen
The match will kick off at 2pm BST on Sunday, 20th September.
