Crystal Palace midfielder Naouirou Ahamada (23) is set to join AJ Auxerre on a permanent deal, according to a report from Le Parisien.
Ahamada has failed to establish himself at Crystal Palace, following a €12m move back in 2023. He has made just 31 appearances for the Premier League club, and he has not played a single minute of first-team football this season.
It comes off the back of a disappointing loan spell at Stade Rennais last season, during which he made just five substitute appearances in all competitions. His contract at Crystal Palace is coming to an end at the end of the season and he is now set to join Auxerre on a permanent deal on a free transfer.
Palace have agreed to terminate the final six months remaining on Ahamada’s deal, but the deal that will see him join the Ligue 1 outfit will see the Premier League side have a sell-on percentage. The defensive midfielder is set to sign his deal with L’AJA on Tuesday, Le Parisien understands.
