Real Madrid will lock horns with Elche at the Martinez Valero Stadium on Tuesday night as they look to secure a good result on the road in La Liga. Los Blancos managed to earn a dominant 4-1 win over Rayo Vallecano recently, which should keep them in good spirits going into this game.
Jose Mourinho will set his players up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make a few changes to his first team for this clash. Marc Cucurella, Dean Huijsen and Trent Alexander-Arnold could all play from the start of this game.
Thibaut Courtois will feature in between the sticks for Los Blancos after conceding one goal in his last appearance. Ibrahima Konate will operate alongside Dean Huijsen at the centre of the Real Madrid backline as they look to keep things solid at the back during the 90 minutes.
Trent Alexander-Arnold will try to prove his worth as the right-back, while Marc Cucurella hopes to catch the eye on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.
Antonio Rudiger and Denzel Dumfries will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Eduardo Camavinga and Federico Valverde will anchor the midfield for Los Blancos as they look to establish their superiority over the opposition at the centre of the park.
The gifted trio of Vinicius Junior, Jude Bellingham and Arda Guler will operate just ahead of them as part of Mourinho’s attack. All three of them need to be at their best if the Madrid giants are to come out on top in midweek.
Yan Diomande and Aurelien Tchouameni will have to be content with a spot on the bench as they wait for their chance to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if required.
Kylian Mbappe will spearhead Real Madrid’s attack up top. He has to figure out a way to cause a lot of headaches for the Elche defenders this Tuesday night.
Carlos Espi will make up the numbers on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages if needed.
