Real Madrid will entertain Real Sociedad at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium this Wednesday night as they look to secure all three points in La Liga. Los Blancos managed to earn a hard-fought 2-1 away at Espanyol last weekend, which should keep them in good spirits going into this game.
Jose Mourinho will set his men up in a 4-4-2 formation and is expected to make just one change to his first team for this game. Marc Cucurella could get the nod to play from the start of this contest, while Alvaro Carreras makes way for him and drops to the bench.
Thibaut Courtois will feature in between the sticks for Los Blancos after conceding one goal in his last outing. Ibrahima Konate will resume his partnership alongside Dean Huijsen at the heart of the Real Madrid backline as they focus on keeping a good shape on the defensive end of the field.
Denzel Dumfries will try to put in a good performance as the right-back, while Marc Cucurella hopes to catch the eye on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will get the license to go forward and express themselves inside the opponent’s half.
Trent Alexander-Arnold and Alvaro Carreras will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Federico Valverde and Bernardo Silva will operate as Mourinho’s central midfielders. Both of them will try to dictate the tempo of the game at the centre of the park and engineer some clear-cut chances in the final third.
Jude Bellingham will try to prove his worth as the left-sided wide player, while Arda Guler hopes to weave his magic on the right flank. Both of them will have to carry most of the creative burden for Los Blancos in the wide positions.
Yan Diomande, Brahim Diaz and Eduardo Camavinga will be available for selection on the bench as they wait for their chance to shine in the second 45 minutes if needed.
Vinicius Jr. and Kylian Mbappe will lead the charge for the Madrid giants up top. Both of them will have to combine well if Real Madrid are to secure a convincing win in midweek.
Carlos Espi will be named on the bench following his heroics last weekend when he scored a 90th-minute winner versus Espanyol.
