MIAMI – Curaçao and Nicaragua seek to build on their first place leads as the Second Round of the Concacaf Qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup 2026 continues on Friday with important matches in Groups C and D.

The Road to the 2026 continues for Concacaf nations with the final encounters of the Second Round during the June 2025 match window. The group winners and runners-up will progress to the Third and Final Round.

Curaçao vs. Saint Lucia

Curaçao hosts Saint Lucia in Group C at Stadion Ergilio Hato in Willemstad, Curaçao.

Curaçao is the leader in the group and will seek to strengthen its position. A Rangelo Janga hat-trick propelled the nation to a 4-1 win against Barbados to open its campaign last year. Curaçao then earned a 2-nil win at Aruba with goals from Juninho Bacuna and Xander Severina.

Saint Lucia enters in fourth place with one point and needs a victory to stay alive in its qualification hopes. Caniggia Elva, Ridel Stanislas, and Peter Pearson have each scored a goal for Saint Lucia in defeats against Haiti and Aruba.

Nicaragua vs. Guyana

Nicaragua hosts Guyana in Group D at Estadio Nacional de Fútbol in Managua, Nicaragua.

La Azul y Blanco is first in the group with six points and seeks to add to its lead. The Central American nation took a 4-1 win against Montserrat to begin its campaign last year. Bancy Hernández shined with a brace to win 4-nil at Belize to extend the undefeated start.

Guyana enters in third with three points and seeks to jump into the top two. After a 2-nil loss at Panama to start its campaign, the Golden Jaguars earned a 3-1 win against Belize thanks to a brace from Deon Moore.
