MIAMI – Curaçao delivered a notable upset to stay unbeaten in the Final Round of the Concacaf Qualifiers to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, maintaining its form in the latest Concacaf Men's National Team Rankings.

The Concacaf Ranking Index grades all national teams across the confederation. Nations gain points for results in the Nations League, Gold Cup, World Cup Qualifiers, and other international matches.

Mexico retains first place, Guatemala jumps one spot after win in the Qualifiers

Reigning Concacaf Gold Cup and Nations League winners Mexico (2,019) held on to the number one spot following friendlies against Colombia and Ecuador during the October international fixtures.

Fellow FIFA World Cup 26 co-hosts Canada (1,818) remained in second place following friendlies with Australia and Colombia.

Panama (1,765), the United States (1,727), and Costa Rica (1,701) round out the top five.

⁠⁠Panama keeps the top spot in Central America and Jamaica still leads in the Caribbean after a new round of Qualifiers

Panama continues to lead in Central America after maintaining its unbeaten start to the Final Round of Concacaf World Cup Qualifiers. Costa Rica follows in second after a draw with Honduras and win against Nicaragua.

Honduras (1,589), the leader of its group in the Final Round of WCQ, is next in third place. Guatemala (1,449), El Salvador (1,151), Nicaragua (1,107), and Belize (732) complete the subregion.

Jamaica (1,510), Haiti (1,422), and Trinidad and Tobago (1,352), Suriname (1,311), and Curaçao (1,287) all retained their place in the top five of the Caribbean rankings.

⁠⁠Saint Vicent and the Grenadines jumps two spots after consecutive friendly wins over Cuba

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines was the biggest mover, improving two places to #21, after its recent outings. #8 Guatemala, #13 Martinique, and #14 Guadeloupe all improved by one spot.

Curaçao provided the biggest upset after win over Jamaica in the Qualifiers

Curaçao delivered the biggest upset of the month with its 2-nil win against Jamaica on October 10 at Stadion Ergilio Hato in Willemstad. Then the #12 ranked side, Curaçao defeated #7 overall Jamaica.

Livano Comenencia and Kenji Gorré powered Curaçao to victory to take the momentary lead in Group B of the Final Round of World Cup Qualifying. Curaçao fell to second after a draw with Trinidad and Tobago but is one point of the top spot heading into the decisive November window.
