Cyle Larin closer to Mallorca move

Mallorca are about to complete the signing of Cyle Larin for €7m plus add-ons, as reported by Relevo.

The Canada international, 28, made it clear that he did not want to play for Real Valladolid in the Segunda División in 2023-24 and now looks set to stay in the top flight with Javier Aguirre’s men.

Several clubs have shown interest in the player, but Valladolid remained firm when it came to negotiating, although it was only a matter of time before talks began to progress for the former Club Brugge player.

Mallorca, after earning more than €20m for Kang-In Lee, who joined French champions PSG, will now have extra firepower in attack for the upcoming campaign.
