Three Lions looking to bounce back from defeat by Spain

England enjoy their first away day of this Nations League campaign tonight as they face the Czech Republic in Prague. The first matchday of the competition was a lively one, as England were beaten 3-2 by Spain in a helter-skelter affair at Wembley Stadium. Two glaring errors from Nico O’Reilly and Marc Guehi were the Three Lions’ undoing there, cancelling out the good work they had done to bounce back from conceding in the second minute.

The Czech contingent also tasted defeat at the weekend as they were beaten by Croatia at home, with the veteran Luka Modric the architect of their downfall there. Both sides come into this match chasing a much-needed three points, then, and could end the day as high as second in the group with a win.
