Daniel Banjaqui has shaken off a bout of flu and should return to Benfica’s squad for the trip to Santa Clara, according to Glorioso 1904.

The right-back has resumed full training without restrictions and should be included in José Mourinho’s options for the Azores fixture.

He missed selection for the meeting with Alverca.

The young defender had been rested recently and then faced flu, which kept him out of contention temporarily.

With that setback over, he is back in the frame for the 22nd round.
