Daniel Farke has confirmed Noah Okafor will rejoin Leeds United training this week after an extended summer break following Switzerland’s World Cup quarter-finals.

“To keep going. We are far away from not staying humble, from being over the moon or too big time.” He told LUTV.

Leeds are heading back from their USA tour, capped by a 4-2 comeback win over Liverpool, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Brenden Aaronson getting first minutes of the summer. Harry Wilson and Tarik Muharemovic continued to settle.

Preparations now step up with a 120-minute match against RB Leipzig this weekend as the squad return to the UK.

The winger is one of three yet to feature, with Ilia Gruev recovering from a knee injury and Jaka Bijol hoping to rejoin team training soon.

Leeds continue to work on additions, including James Trafford, who is close to a club-record £40million move, while attacking options to compete with Okafor are being explored. “Also, we're still in the market for some signings,” Farke said. “Obviously, it's not done.”
