Daniel Farke says Dominic Calvert-Lewin is a doubt for Leeds United’s FA Cup quarter-final at West Ham on Sunday due to a hamstring issue, while Anton Stach is expected to be available after a minor hip problem. The striker has been scanned as a precaution.

Farke confirmed the squad reconvened with some players on recovery work and minor knocks to monitor, with late travel decisions to follow after the next session. According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the head coach outlined that fitness calls will be made close to departure.

Before the break, Noah Okafor’s return from a hamstring injury meant only Gabriel Gudmundsson missed the Brentford match through suspension after his dismissal at Crystal Palace. On international duty Gudmundsson took a knee knock against Ukraine, reported himself fine, then played the full game in the win over Poland.

Okafor was an unused substitute against Germany amid reports of a warm-up knock, then did not feature versus Norway. Dan James, recently back from a hamstring tendon problem, scored and played 84 minutes in Wales’ penalty defeat to Bosnia, was limited by cramp and later logged 45 minutes off the bench against Northern Ireland.

Calvert-Lewin featured for England against Uruguay, then left the camp before the Japan friendly, a move the report said had been pre-planned as Thomas Tuchel trimmed his squad. Farke said the forward cut one session short with hamstring discomfort, missed the next day’s work and remains a doubt, though he hopes the scan shows only a minor issue and that the striker can rejoin training tomorrow at the London Stadium build-up.
