Daniel Farke refused to be drawn on Facundo Buonanotte, stressing he will not discuss potential signings until any deal is completed.

According to Leeds Live, Leeds are understood to have agreed a loan for the 21-year-old attacking midfielder from Brighton and Hove Albion, who has been playing on loan with Chelsea. A medical is scheduled for Thursday, with confirmation expected before Saturday’s game against Fulham.

While declining to address Buonanotte directly, Farke said he wants more quality in attack, especially in the number 10 or wide positions, noting they missed out late in the summer.

He added that the team has progressed and the group is good, but the January market is difficult and he is more reluctant this month. He said they would act if a player improves the squad and fits the dressing room.

Farke admitted they are a bit thin in creative attacking areas and, despite a slight tweak in shape, still need players who can make things happen. Any addition, he said, would only come if they are convinced it will help the group.
