Daniel Farke has been named the 2024/25 LMA Championship Manager of the Year, after guiding his Leeds United side to the title and promotion to the Premier League.

Announced at the 33rd annual awards ceremony in London on Tuesday evening, this is the second time Farke has been recognised by the union, having previously been voted by the membership (which includes Premier League, EFL and national managers) in 2021, following Norwich City's promotion.

After narrowly missing out on promotion last season, Farke and his staff went one step further this season, as Leeds United finished top of the Championship, setting a new club record of 100 points.

The 2024/25 season also saw a number of other club records broken, as the Whites closed out the campaign with an unprecedented 29 wins and 25 clean sheets, whilst scoring the most goals (95) in a single season for 97 years.

The first manager to lift the Championship title on three occasions, Farke also became the first Leeds United manager to win 57 games in their first 100 games.
