“Yeah, definitely. I think Stu [Dallas] obviously spent a very long time here, absolutely loved it. It's something that I would absolutely love to do as well, I think.” He told the Official Leeds United podcast.

Daniel James has struggled for minutes at Leeds United this season, with injuries limiting him to four Premier League starts and no goals or assists as Daniel Farke has often moved away from traditional wingers.

“So much [can change]. Year to year, things change as I've had in my career, but ultimately, I feel great. I've settled, I've really settled with the family. It definitely feels like home, but it's down to me to go and perform on the pitch.”

He signed a new four-year deal last summer after starring in Farke’s 100-point Championship title-winning season, registering 12 goals and nine assists in 36 games, his most productive campaign, following 20 direct contributions in 2023/24.

His only start this calendar year came in the 3-0 FA Cup fifth-round win over Norwich City in March. An adductor strain sidelined him throughout April, with two league cameos either side totalling nine minutes.

He remains a valued squad option and a long-standing team-mate for many, with international compatriots Ethan Ampadu, Joe Rodon and Karl Darlow central to the group dynamic Farke prioritises.
