Arnaut Danjuma has broken his silence with a cryptic Instagram post about Valencia CF, looking ahead to next season and promising a collective response.

The Dutch winger said in a post that he always gives his best for the club, the fans and his team-mates, opening with a line that placed being second as merely top of the rest.

He thanked supporters for an incredible welcome in his first season and said he now truly understands how special the club is.

Danjuma accepted that this season has not been at the level supporters deserve, adding that they will return stronger, work even harder and give more next season to take the team, together with its fans, to the place it deserves.

He framed his remarks as collective rather than personal, and signed off by telling fans to rest and that they will see each other soon.
