2. Bundesliga side SV Darmstadt are about to sign South Korean striker Ho-Jae Lee from Pohang Steelers. According to “kicker”, the official confirmation is expected in the coming days for the transfer of the 25-year-old.

The 1.92m-tall striker has found the net 53 times in 177 appearances for Pohang Steelers. He also scored in his full South Korea debut at the East Asian Football Championship last year.

Florian Kohfeldt’s side were competing for promotion until their abysmal form at the end of last season, but they will now need to form a new attacking line after the departures of Fraser Hornby and Isac Lidberg.
