Darryl Ombang joins Darlington on loan

Leeds United can confirm Academy goalkeeper Darryl Ombang has joined Enterprise National League North side Darlington on a youth loan.

The goalkeeper heads to Blackwell Meadows to gain further experience after featuring in the Premier League 2, Vertu Trophy and Premier League International Cup so far this term for Scott Gardner’s Under-21s.

Darryl returns to the North East after previously spending time on loan at Hartlepool United towards the end of last campaign.

Steve Watson’s Darlington currently sit 17th in the National League North standings and the goalkeeper will be eligible for the visit of Southport this afternoon.

Everyone at Leeds United would like to wish Darryl well during his time in County Durham and we will be monitoring his progress closely.
