He played 394 times for United, scoring 85 goals for the club. Beckham left for Real Madrid in the summer of 2003, winning the La Liga title in 2007.

The midfielder also played for Los Angeles Galaxy, Paris Saint-Germain, and AC Milan.

Beckham would also captain England and played an incredible 115 times for the Three Lions.

Ownership

The Carrington product co-owns Salford City with Gary Neville but has had more success with his Major League Soccer team, Inter Miami.

The club made their debut in 2020 but have already won the Leagues Cup in 2023, the Supporters’ Shield in 2024, and the MLS Cup in 2025.

They also participated in the inaugural FIFA Club World Cup last summer.

Signings

Beckham has not only had success on the field but also off it when it comes to attracting big names.

He successfully landed arguably the biggest name in football when he managed to convince Lionel Messi to leave Paris Saint-Germain in 2023.

Luis Suarez, Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets, and Rodrigo De Paul have all also been convinced to sign for the United legend.

Casemiro has also recently just agreed a deal to join Messi and Beckham in Miami after the World Cup.

Next galactico

TalkSPORT reveal that Beckham already has his eyes on the next superstar he wants to join the MLS.

When French attacker Kylian Mbappe was asked about a potential switch to America later in his career he retorted, “we’ll see. David Beckham has mentioned it to me many times. American culture is different, there are no limits to ambition, and I like that.”
