Former Real Madrid star David Beckham has on Friday sent a message the way of new Blancos recruit Trent Alexander-Arnold.
This of course comes after the latter was at last unveiled as a Real Madrid player.
Alexander-Arnold put pen to paper on terms at the Santiago Bernabéu late last month, ahead of the expiration of his contract at Liverpool.
The 26-year-old, though, was only officially presented in front of the media yesterday morning.
This came after Alexander-Arnold was called up by Thomas Tuchel for England’s international meetings with Andorra and Senegal.
The right-back, on Thursday, was therefore full of smiles, after achieving what he considers a ‘dream’ move.
Messages of congratulations and warm wishes of welcome have since come pouring in for Alexander-Arnold, from across the world of football.
And as alluded to above, on Friday, adding his name to this list of well-wishers was none other than David Beckham.
Taking to the comments section of Alexander-Arnold’s latest post on Instagram, ex-Real Madrid winger Beckham wrote:
‘Congrats friend and welcome to a great club’
