David Beckham ‘to target’ Bernardo Silva for Inter Miami in January

Inter Miami, led by president David Beckham and fronted by Lionel Messi, are leading the chase for Bernardo Silva.

According to Sportsboom, the MLS side are considering a January offer for the 31-year-old after Manchester City set a €20 million price.

Silva is in the final months of his City contract, which ends in June, so he can discuss a pre-contract or even leave before it expires.

After the 2-0 win over Newcastle in the first leg of the League Cup semi-finals, Pep Guardiola said he would like Silva to sign a new deal.

If a move happens, he could join Messi alongside names such as Luis Suárez and Rodrigo de Paul.

This season he has 30 appearances for City across competitions, totalling 2,094 minutes, with one goal and three assists.
