Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya is assured of the Premier League Golden Glove for a third successive season after Manchester City’s 3-3 draw at Everton on Monday.

The Premier League said in a statement that Raya cannot be overtaken this season. He has 17 clean sheets to Gianluigi Donnarumma’s 13 with four rounds left, so he is guaranteed at least a share.

He will be the sole winner if he records a clean sheet in any of Arsenal’s final three matches, or if Donnarumma concedes again for Manchester City.

Introduced in 2004-05, the award goes to the goalkeeper with the most league clean sheets. Raya co-won it last season alongside Matz Sels of Nottingham Forest.

The feat makes him only the fourth, and the first from Arsenal, to claim three in a row in 2024, 2025 and 2026, after Pepe Reina at Liverpool, and Joe Hart and Ederson at Manchester City.

The result also affected the title race, leaving City second on 71 points and Arsenal top on 76. Raya, a Spain international aged 30 with 12 caps, is expected to start against Atlético Madrid in Tuesday’s Champions League semi-final second leg at 21:00.
