Portugal owes Cristiano Ronaldo a great deal for what he has done for the country, but news of his departure from the national team camp yesterday created a chaotic situation, with Juventus also affected.

Ronaldo’s decision has become a controversial subject, as has his continued involvement with the national team. Football Italia described the situation as a chaotic day for Portugal, who had to deal with the consequences of his departure while also assessing an injury to Juventus winger Francisco Conceicao.

Portugal’s manager confirmed that Conceicao is injured and will not start the next match. The winger has not been permitted to leave the camp for Juventus during the current international window, meaning he remains among the unavailable players in the squad.

Conceicao Ruled Out

The report states that Conceicao is definitely not fit enough to start Portugal’s next fixture. However, that does not mean the national team are prepared to allow him to return to Juventus immediately.

Portugal will remain in contact with Juventus’ medical staff while monitoring the winger’s condition. If it becomes clear that he requires treatment and will not play another minute for his country, he could be sent back to Turin.

The decision will depend on the results of further assessments. Portugal will want to retain him if there remains a possibility that he can contribute, while Juventus will be eager to ensure that his injury does not worsen during the international break.

Juventus Await Return

Conceicao has been one of Juventus’ most important players since the beginning of the season, making his fitness a significant concern for the Bianconeri. The club will want him to continue his excellent form once he returns to Turin.

Juventus will therefore monitor developments closely and remain in contact with Portugal’s medical team. If the winger is unable to participate in the remaining fixtures, returning him to his club could be the most sensible option.

For now, Conceicao remains with the national squad despite being ruled out of the next match. Portugal’s decision will depend on his recovery, while Juventus will hope that he returns safely and remains available for their upcoming fixtures.
