Referee: Schärer in charge His 15th appearance in the UEFA Champions League will be his first involving Borussia Dortmund: 36-year-old Swiss referee Sandro Schärer will oversee the match in Lille. Schärer was already refereeing in the Swiss second division in 2011, when he was 24. He refereed twice at Euro 2024. Dennis Higler from the Netherlands will be the VAR.

Kits: BVB all in yellowBorussia Dortmund will be wearing their usual cup shirt, but with yellow shorts (as in the semi-final in Paris last season!). Lille will wear red shirts and dark blue shorts and socks.

Live broadcast: DAZN and NetradioThe game can be watched on TV or live streamed on DAZN. The coverage will be presented by Laura Wontorra, with commentary by Jan Platte. Tobias Schweinsteiger will be on site to share his expertise. The programme starts at 18:00 CET. As usual, BVB Netradio will be reporting through the Black & Yellow lens.
