De La Cruz’s wife posted a message of support after Flamengo’s 2-1 win over Red Bull Bragantino at the Maracanã, where the midfielder featured for only one minute in the 28th round of the Brasileirão.

According to Coluna Do Fla, the Uruguayan midfielder was introduced only in the closing stages, underlining his limited involvement this season.

In an Instagram post, Vanesa Britos said the family admired and applauded him, praised his courage, respect and silence, added there were no grudges, only lessons, and that they love him and will always be there.
