De Rossi nearing coaching appointment at Torino

Last week, an agreement was reached for the mutual termination of Roma’s contract with Daniele De Rossi.

The former Giallorossi coach is now free to embark on a new adventure and could soon return to the Serie A bench, where several clubs have expressed interest.

According to Il Messaggero, De Rossi is ahead of Palladino and Dionisi in the race for the Torino bench should Baroni be sacked in the coming days.

An agreement in principle is already in place with Urbano Cairo, putting the former Roma captain in a privileged position.

Fiorentina are also interested in the manager, but the Granata were the first to make the move.

Meanwhile, De Rossi has reportedly already declined Monza’s offer, a sign of his willingness to wait for a coaching project more in line with his ambitions.
