Roberto De Zerbi says he is optimistic that Dominic Solanke has not suffered a serious injury, but is unsure of the severity of Xavi Simons’ knee injury.
Solanke was forced off in the first half of Spurs’ 1-0 win over already relegated Wolves. before Simons was taken off in the second half.
“Solanke is a muscular injury, I don’t know what level of injury,” Spurs boss De Zerbi said.
“For Xavi, it’s a problem with his knee. We need to see in the next days, Monday or Tuesday.
“For Solanke, it’s not a big problem. I don’t know how many games we lose him but I would like to know the real situation of Xavi because the knee (injury) is always different to muscular.
“He (Simons) felt pain but I spoke with him two minutes ago and he feels better than at the beginning of the injury.”

The victory thanks to Joao Palhinha’s goal was Tottenham’s first in the Premier League in 2026, but they remain in the relegation zone with four games remaining after West Ham beat Everton.
“I hope this result can change something in our heads, in our mentality,” De Zerbi said.
“The other results, it’s already very tough to win a game for us. If we think about the other teams, it becomes too tough.”
