Tottenham boss Roberto De Zerbi says he would like to keep Mikey Moore at the club but admits the youngster needs regular football as Spurs consider his future.
Moore impressed as Tottenham beat Charlton 5-1 in the Carabao Cup, but De Zerbi says the club must decide whether the 19-year-old will receive enough opportunities in north London this season.
“It is important for him, it is important for us because he is our player from the academy,” De Zerbi said.
“In these days we have to understand what is the best solution for him, for us, because I would like to keep him because he is young but he is a good player.
“But we can’t make the wrong decision because anyway he needs to play, he needs to put games inside of him and with Johan Lange and Vinay we have to find the best solution.”

He had previously been close to joining German club FC Koln on loan before that move was halted while Spurs brought in more attacking options.
They have since added Savinho and are set to seal the signing of his former Manchester City team-mate Omar Marmoush too.
It means Moore’s move to the Bundesliga could be revisited before the end of the window.
Moore opened the scoring as Spurs swept aside Charlton to book their place in the third round of the competition, where they will face Liverpool.
