Antoine Semenyo is expected to be on the move next month after it was confirmed that his Bournemouth contract contains a release clause.
Indeed, his suitors will have to shell out an upfront fee of £60 million plus £5 million in add-ons if they are to buy him out of his terms at the Vitality Stadium.

Manchester United held talks with Semenyo back in the summer over a potential deal before 2025/2026 began, with Manchester Evening News even reporting that Ruben Amorim met with the player personally to gauge where his head was at.
However, the Ghanaian would go on to commit his future to Bournemouth by signing a five-year deal on July 1- albeit it looks as though he only agreed fresh terms to ensure he could be granted a seamless exit in 2026 with the addition of his release clause.
Unfortunately for the Red Devils, who are said to retain their interest in Semenyo, he has reportedly decided on a switch to Liverpool.

TeamTalk claims that United, Tottenham Hotspur and the reigning league champions have all approached the 25-year-old in hopes of signing him in January, and the latter’s proposal has seemingly done enough to convince him of an Anfield switch.
It’ll come as no surprise to learn that Liverpool have been actively pushing to sign the prolific forward, given their tumultuous form over the last couple of months.

From the Cherries talisman’s perspective, he’ll also be able to ply his trade in the Champions League for the first-ever time in his career, whereas he wouldn’t have been awarded such a luxury had he joined Amorim’s ranks mid-season.
