Brian Graham settled the game in the 54th minute with a close-range left-footed finish into the roof of the net, giving Falkirk a 1-0 win at Kilmarnock.
He ghosted into the six-yard box to meet Kyrell Wilson's pass and apply the killer touch, breaking a tight contest open.
Minutes later, he cushioned a header into Calvin Miller's path, whose close-range effort cleared the bar (58.). He then combined with Miller again, the winger dragging a shot wide from the left (83.).
Graham finished with two shots on target and two key passes. He also won possession seven times and four aerial duels, his hold-up play helping the Bairns push up the pitch and manage territory.
That presence up front kept Kilmarnock's centre-backs occupied, allowing runners to join attacks and ensuring Falkirk controlled the key moments once ahead.
The Bairns visit Dundee next. Kilmarnock travel to St Mirren next.
