Guus Til settled it in the 81st minute with a left-footed finish, as PSV beat Heracles 4-3. The midfielder is now on 11 league goals, second in the Eredivisie scoring chart.
Early on, Til earned a penalty with clever movement, setting the Boeren on their way from the spot. His timing into the box repeatedly asked questions of the visiting defence.
After the restart, he kept arriving in dangerous areas and later stole into the centre to turn in Sergiño Dest's cut-back for the decisive goal, a poacher's finish that matched his box-running all night.
Til's end product matched the eye test: two shots on target, three key passes and six touches in the opposition box, plus a penalty won, underlined how he stretched Heracles while still linking play.
Because PSV's wide supply and midfield rotations kept lanes open between full-back and centre-back, Til could attack those gaps on cue, maintaining pressure through repeated late surges into the area.
The Boeren remain top of the table and host GVVV in the KNVB Beker next, while Heracles face Hoogeveen in the same competition.
