Toyosi Olusanya settled it in the 88th minute with a right-footed finish into the top right corner, as Aberdeen beat Dundee Utd 2-0.
Earlier, he slipped in Stuart Armstrong for The Dons' opener in the 19th minute.
After the restart, he met Jack Milne's cross with a header that missed to the left (49.). Moments later, his left-footed effort from the right side of the box was blocked (50.).
He finished with six attempts, two on target, and 13 touches in the box, plus an assist. Seven recoveries and two successful dribbles underlined how he drove The Dons' press and stayed dangerous between the lines.
United were reduced to ten men when Emmanuel Agyei received a second yellow and was sent off (84.). He then thumped the clincher into the top right from the centre of the box (88.), with The Arabs stretched late on.
The Dons host St Mirren next. United face Livingston next.
