Lawrence Shankland levelled in the 43rd minute with a right-footed finish, as Motherwell and Hearts drew 1-1 at Fir Park.
The Jambos' striker signalled intent early, seeing a close-range effort from the centre blocked in the fourth minute.
He then found space again before half-time and struck low into the middle of the net (43.). After the restart he tried from distance and missed high and left (65.). Moments later another effort from the centre was blocked (65.), before he slipped Pierre Kaboré in for a shot that was saved (75.).
Shankland finished with four attempts, two on target and six touches in the box, underlining a constant penalty-area presence that the Jam Tarts leaned on to keep Motherwell pinned back.
He is now on 15 league goals, third in the Scottish Premiership scoring. The Jambos host Falkirk next, while Motherwell welcome Celtic.
