Jesuran Rak-Sakyi levelled in the 56th minute with a close-range finish, earning Stoke City a 1-1 draw with Blackburn Rovers.

Early on he was Stoke's liveliest outlet on the right, drawing fouls and threading passes into the box, including a feed for Sam Gallagher that was blocked.

Rak-Sakyi's moment arrived after the restart, arriving in the six-yard area to turn in Million Manhoef's pass (56.). The timing of his run from the right side caught Blackburn's defence square.

He then flashed a left-footed effort wide from the right of the area (60.). He finished with two attempts, two key passes and 10 touches in the box, underlining how often he attacked dangerous spaces between defenders.

Those repeated bursts inside pulled defenders back towards their goal and gave Stoke a reliable reference in the penalty area whenever the hosts worked the ball to the right flank.

Stoke City visit Wrexham next. Blackburn Rovers travel to Southampton.
