Sam Smith levelled it in the 24th minute with a glancing header, as Wrexham's Championship tie with Norwich City finished 1-1.
Smith's goal came from Max Cleworth's delivery, the striker pulling off his marker to guide the header beyond Vladan Kovacevic (24.). He threatened again before the interval, rising to meet another ball into the area but heading wide (44.) as the Canaries held their line.
The forward finished with two attempts, one on target, three touches in the box and three possessions won, underlining his penalty box movement and persistence against the Canaries centre-backs.
That movement between defenders created the window for Cleworth's pass, and his willingness to attack aerial balls kept Norwich City's back line occupied through the key phases.
Wrexham are 10th on 40 points. The Canaries sit 22nd on 24. Wrexham host Leicester City next, while the Canaries visit West Bromwich Albion next.
How high would you rate Smith's performance tonight?
