Decisive figure lifts Estoril past Braga | OneFootball

André settled the game in the 43rd minute with a left-footed finish, as Estoril beat Braga 1-0.

He arrived on to Pedro Amaral's pass at the left of the box and guided the ball into the bottom-right corner (43.). The movement split Braga's back line and converted Estoril pressure into a lead.

After the restart, he threatened again, forcing Lukas Hornicek to save a low effort from the right side of the area after linking with Ricard Sánchez (63.). He continued to occupy the centre-backs before making way (78.).

The forward finished with three attempts, two on target, and four touches in the box, plus seven successful passes in the final third – a tidy line-leading display that kept Braga pinned back when it mattered.

Because Braga operated with a back three, his constant darts into the channels pulled markers around and opened lanes for overlapping support, which underpinned Estoril's best phases either side of the interval.

Estoril rise from 13th to ninth and host Alverca next. Braga remain fifth and visit Caldas in the Taça de Portugal next.
