Hakon Arnar Haraldsson struck in the 29th minute with a right-footed finish to put Lille in front, as the tie ended Lille 1-1 Le Havre.
Haraldsson had already threatened, rattling the left post from distance (15.). He then saw a close-range header turned away after arriving between centre-backs (27.).
He timed his run for the breakthrough, collecting Romain Perraud's through ball before slotting low into the bottom-right (29.).
After the restart, the Iceland midfielder forced Mory Diaw into another low stop from outside the box (46.). He then released Matías Fernández for a clear chance that whistled wide (58.).
Haraldsson finished with five attempts, three on target, and four chances created, drifting between the lines to link attacks and keep Le Havre's back four shifting.
Lille visit Monaco next. Le Havre host Marseille next.
