Mika Godts created the second goal in the 14th minute and inspired Ajax to a 4-1 win over Fortuna Sittard. The Belgian is now on 12 Eredivisie goals, second in the scoring chart.
He then rifled home from outside the box into the bottom right (24.) after Jorthy Mokio's pass opened up the space.
For the Godenzonen, he slipped Rayane Bounida in for a shot that Luuk Koopmans saved (37.). After the restart, his cross was headed against the left post by Kasper Dolberg (47.).
Late on, he arrived in the box to sweep in Wout Weghorst's lay-off (81.). He finished with four attempts, two on target, five key passes and nine touches in the area.
His delivery from the right underpinned the Godenzonen's threat, with three accurate crosses from six and consistent movement that kept Fortuna Sittard pinned back.
The display helps the Godenzonen rise from fourth to third in the Eredivisie and they host NEC Nijmegen next. Fortuna Sittard face Excelsior next.
