Yanis Begraoui put Estoril ahead in the 74th minute with a calm finish, setting up a 3-1 win over Gil Vicente. The forward then struck again late to settle a tight Liga Portugal contest.
He timed his break perfectly to meet a fast transition and swept a left-footed shot from the centre of the box (74.), finishing after a precise pass from Joao Carvalho.
He doubled up with a ruthless right-footed strike into the top right (80.) after running onto Carvalho's through ball. A VAR review followed and the goal was awarded.
Begraoui finished with three attempts, two on target, and five touches in the box, plus three tackles and five recoveries, underlining his work without the ball. He is now on 17 Liga Portugal goals, third in the competition's scoring chart.
His constant movement between the centre-backs and willingness to attack in transition kept Gil Vicente retreating, giving Estoril control of the game's key moments.
Estoril rise from ninth to sixth in the table and visit Sporting CP next. Gil Vicente remain fifth and host Benfica next.
