Patrick Agyemang fired home in the 32nd minute to set Derby County on course for a 3-0 win at Sheffield Wednesday.

Driving in from the left, he drilled a low finish into the bottom right corner, exploiting space inside the box to break the game open.

After the restart he struck again, guiding his effort into the roof of the net from the centre (62.). He later drew another stop with a firm strike from the left side (77.).

He finished with four attempts, three on target, plus nine touches in the box. He won possession eight times and three aerial duels, a blend of penalty area presence and relentless work that kept The Owls pinned back.

With his runs constantly stretching the back line, Derby were able to progress quickly and play off their target, ensuring the Rams controlled the key moments.

The Rams climb from 16th to 12th in the Championship and host Portsmouth next. The Owls visit Ipswich.
