Decisive figure rescues late point for Sporting CP

Luis Suárez forced a 1-1 draw for Sporting CP at Porto, scoring in the 10th minute of second half stoppage time moments after his penalty was saved.

Earlier, in the 24th minute, Suárez led a fast break and fed Geny Catamo on the right, the winger firing wide.

He then delivered a teasing cross for Souleymane Faye, whose header was blocked (90.).

Suárez finished with two attempts, both on target, four touches in the box and two key passes. He also won possession four times, keeping the Leões on the front foot.

His persistence around second balls and late movement unsettled Porto's back line, and that relentlessness ultimately told in stoppage time for the Leões.
