Hyeon-gyu Oh levelled in the 43rd minute as Beşiktaş won 3-2 at Başakşehir, his first goal for the club. He then slid the pass for the go-ahead strike (58.).
The Korea Republic forward found the bottom left from the centre of the box (43.), stopping the hosts in their tracks and tilting the momentum before the interval.
After the restart he dropped short to receive and threaded a through ball for Orkun Kökçü to finish (58.), a simple vertical pass that split the defence and put Kara Kartal in front.
He finished with two attempts, two key passes and four touches in the box, a neat snapshot of how he linked play and attacked space between centre-backs.
With Kara Kartal funnelling attacks through him, his movement across the front line repeatedly disrupted Başakşehir's shape and gave the visitors a platform to control key phases.
Kara Kartal host Göztepe next. Başakşehir visit Alanyaspor.
